Get ready to feel illuminated with the return of Leicester’s official fireworks display and bonfire night celebrations set to take place in Abbey Park. You can expect a full programme of fun-filled activities and events including all your favourites such as a funfair, live entertainment, hot food and beverage stalls set throughout the park. There are two fireworks display’s set to take place and the children’s display is set to take place at 6.45pm which will then be followed by the lighting of the bonfire.
Leicester City Council are reminding anyone who plans on attending, that this year there are no cash sales on arrival and all tickets for Abbey Park bonfire & firework display must be purchased beforehand. Children four and under go for free with no ticket required as long as they are accompanied by an adult. For any real firework enthusiasts there is an early bird option for tickets which you are encouraged to take advantage of as this is best value for money.
